New Model Announcements: 1:18/1:43 Scale 2024 Supercars - Range 1
A new season of Supercars is here and we're very excited to announce our first range of Supercars models for collectors in both 1:18 and 1:43 scales.
The bulk of this first range essentially covers off our 2024 Repco Supercars Championship Season cars with the models set to replicate the cars raced at the season opening Bathurst 500 round.
With plenty of drivers changing seats over the offseason, there's a great range of 'nice and new' with some natural progressions of some fan-favourite liveries that were seen on track to kick off the year and are begging to be added to collections in the future.
Before we dive into the list of announcements, there's a few things we'd like to point out.
The first and most obvious is we've added a new team to our ranks, Brad Jones Racing. Owner of Authentic Collectables, William Hall, has a long history with both Brad and Kim Jones so we're incredibly excited to become their offical model car partner moving forward to produce their #8, #12, #14 and #96 Camaro Supercars.
Collectors will notice we unfortunately haven't included any 2024 Tickford Racing models as part of this batch of model announcements. We're working through some new details with the team which will impact whether we will continue to produce models of the #55 Thomas Randle Mustang, with the #6 Cam Waters model already unable to be produced moving forward, which has been well documented previously. Apologies to fans of this team, we hope for a positive outcome, but we'll update collectors with more regarding that in due course.

Almost all of the cars on the grid in that range above and doesn't the #100 Winterbottom Camaro look incredible! It's always great to see a team do something new with their livery and this inverting the yellow and black colours from recent years was a great move from the team.
One final model we're really excited to announce as part of this range is a Mustang Gen3 Supercar that was seen at the recent Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival that we think looks really incredible and has a neat little story behind it. It's the Blanchard Racing Team-prepared #16 Ford Performance Mustang driven by James Courtney with former Haas Formula 1 Team Principal and Drive To Survive star Guenther Steiner in the passenger seat.

2. Click on the black 'Register Your Interest' tab on the right side of the screen.
3. Fill in the form with your email address and submit it.
Then when the model arrives, you will receive an advance notification email from us letting you know that it is in stock with a link to complete your order via our website while stock lasts.
With our first range of 2024 announcements done and dusted, we'd like to provide a quick update regarding the development of our new Gen3 Supercars model range.
As most stockists and collectors are no doubt aware by now, due to the implementation of the new Gen3 rules in Supercars and two brand new Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro body shapes to race in 2023, we've had to produce two new sets of tooling for each scale model which unfortunately takes time. Then you throw in a bit of parity drama and it takes even longer, so it's not an ideal situation to be in for a model car maker!
With that being said, there's been plenty of progress.
Our 1:18 die-cast Camaro model with opening parts is completed and in production, with the first release of that model due to arrive in the next month or so, provided there are no unexpected delays. More Camaro's we've previously announced should quickly begin to follow after that and we're excited to get them into collectors hands.
Our 1:18 die-cast Mustang model with opening parts is a little behind that but we're hoping the first examples using that tooling begin to arrive around mid year.
We're in the 3D data and prototype stage for the 1:43 die-cast versions of both models but given both the 1:18s are essentially done now from a development point of view, they should begin to progress pretty rapidly now and we'll hopefully see them start arriving later this year.
You'll note no new 1:64 or 1:12 scale models have been announced at this stage. We're not announcing anything further in these scales until we've made some significant deliveries with the Supercars previously announced in 1:18 and 1:43 due to development and production capacities.
