New Model Announcements: BJR SpongeBob + Kostecki #1 Camaros, Penrite Racing NZ Mustangs + More

What was the best looking Supercar at the AusGP?

SpongeBob SquarePants!

The Brad Jones Racing Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 raced by Macauley Jones at the 2024 Melbourne SuperSprint during the Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix round headlines a handful of really exciting 2024 Camaro and Mustang Gen3 Supercar model announcements which are scheduled to be released in the future from us.

Let's dive right in!

The very bright and bold yellow livery on the Jones number #96 Camaro celebrated 25-years of shenanigans of Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants, and Pizza Hut's alignment with the iconic franchise.

The incredibly fun design sported SpongeBob's cartoon face on the bonnet, a sponge pattern across the car and Pizza Hut, SpongeBob and Celebrating 25 Years logos on the sides.

It was a Supercar that instantly begged to be produced as a limited edition model car for fans and collectors and we're excited to announce to collectors that it is scheduled to be produced by us in three scales.

The SpongeBob Camaro is a must have for collectors.

Sticking with the Camaro theme, at the recent Perth SuperSprint, Erebus Motorsport rolled out an incredible throwback livery on Brodie Kostecki's machine which also featured a giant number 1 on the doors and bonnet to acknowledge the reigning Supercars champion.

It looked fantastic, the throwback livery, which paid tribute to the teams' older Mercedes livery fit the Camaro incredibly well and the number 1 was the icing on the cake. It's one that fans of the team or Kostecki absolutely cannot miss.

The Perth Camaro for Jack Le Brocq, which featured an awesome BIC livery is also scheduled to be produced, with the decision made to cancel the Le Brocq 2024 Bathurst car which was announced earlier this year and produce this version instead to complete the Perth set for Erebus.

Both models are set to come in 1:18 die-cast with opening parts and 1:43 scale sealed body die-cast in numbered limited editions.

If you're a Mustang fan then this is the section for you! The two Mustang models we have in this group of model announcements look absolutely awesome and if you're a Kiwi fan in particular then you're going to love them.

They are the Penrite Racing Ford Mustang GT's dressed in a warpaint the team described as their Native Livery which was raced by Matthew Payne and Richie Stanaway at the inaugural Taupo Super400 round in New Zealand.

The striking silver number 19 and 26 Mustangs featured iconic New Zealand branding elements in the background which formed a pattern made up of the silver fern, an outline of NZ and a Kiwi bird.

It was a livery which rose to the occasion of the inaugural race at Taupo for Supercars, made even more significant for a team with two New Zealanders as their lead drivers.

It's another incredible pair of Penrite Mustangs to add to collections.
